(A sightseeing stop in the Hong Thai Travel 7D Hokkaido Package Tour, my first packaged tour experience.)
Odori Park 大通公園
Contrary to its name, the Odori Park was not as wide as I had imagined, but it was long. And it was a pretty place to see. The park is right in the heart of Sapporo City and Mr Tour Guide said that the Sapporo Snow Festival is held here every year.

Shopping in Sapporo
Like any city, Sapporo has many shopping malls and even a long underground shopping street!
There's Aurora Town オーロラタウン (underneath the Odori Park), Stellar Place and Esta エスタ malls (linked to the JR Sapporo Station), Tokyu Hands 東急ハンズ, Daiso ダイソー, and Tanuki Koji Shopping Street 狸小路 etc.

Dinner @ Sapporo Ramen Kyowakoku 札幌ら~めん共和国
Dinner was on our own at the Sapporo Ramen Kyowakoku 札幌ら~めん共和国, found on Level 10 of the ESTA Mall. There were 8 different famous ramen shops to choose from, and Mom chose the one that had free-flow boiled eggs - 白樺山荘.
Yippee! I love eggs!

JR Tower Observation Deck JRタワー展望室
Also known as the T38 Observation Deck, it is located on Level 38 of the JR Tower / JR Sapporo Station where we could catch a bird's eye view of the Sapporo City. It was very beautiful, and the highlight were the toilets with a view.
Mom said it was a nice cafe with seats facing the window for customers to enjoy the view. |

Kids Toilet - I did not use it because it does not have a door and it was along the walkway! |
