KIDS' CITY @ CITY OF DREAMS, MACAU

キッズ・シティ @ シティーオブドリームス . 어린이 공원 @ 시티 오브 드림즈 . 童梦天地 @ 新濠天地

(This is a postdated post. Trip took place in Mar 2011.)

This was Mom's and my first visit to Macau, whilst Grandma had been here a few times. We visited Senado Square and the Ruins of St. Paul's earlier, and the City of Dreams was our second last stop for the day.

Taking the free shuttle

Vquarium - virtual mermaids!
Main lobby of the City of Dreams

Grandma went to have a look at the casino, and Mom and I went to Kids' City, which was the "largest kids playground in Macau"!

Head towards Hard Rock Hotel, and take the escalator to Level 2
Reception @ Kids' City

It was a big place, and not many people were inside.
Everything looked fun!

Take off shoes here
Playgym

Astro slide
Scary!
Bouncy igloo
For the "littler" ones ... it was still fun for me
For art and crafts
Make-believe in outer space
Playing dress-up! Mom tried to get me to wear a costume ... no thanks!
No shows then
My favourite area
Giant tetris!
I am not cheating ... I just can't reach

Mom said I'm too small but I insist
My first try
Yikes!

Time's up, and I was sad to have to leave Kids' City.
From the City of Dreams, we crossed the road to visit The Venetian.

Mom's Notes
  • Socks are required for both adults and kids! Socks can also be purchased at the reception
  • I was not aware there was a guideline on proper attire then ... but the place was rather chilly so good to put on a sweater
  • Unlimited and free play of arcade games, so it can either be a bane or a boon for parents (most of the older kids were stuck here)
  • Otherwise, plenty of toys, activities and play areas to keep kids occupied for at least 2 hours
  • Toilets for kids and adults are located inside
  • Adults and kids are tagged, and parents are free to exit and re-enter as long as the wrist tags are intact
  • A fun and colourful place for kids, and it is clean and relatively neat. There are minders standing around to supervise the kids, so it is convenient for parents who wish to tour the casino and need some place to keep the kids busy and looked after
